Parkun 127 - late night

True story: I went to a work dinner last night. Got employee of the year award. That wasn’t hard. I was the only one who hang around for the whole year. It was so loud there though that I lost my voice talking to people. Then I came back so late I had no time to prepare my speech for this morning. So I thought I just confess up front that I’ll be mostly improvising today.

Anyway, back to our regular announcements. Welcome to parkrun #127, where we just show up and go with the flow. Any first timers? Welcome! The big thing this weekend in Adelaide is not the games, but the Adelaide Marathon. Anyone doing the Adelaide Marathon tomorrow? Yes? You should be at home resting. Another big event coming is the City to Bay and thanks to Paul Kitchling and Joe Stevens the City to Bay race director and have 5 free vouchers and 10 half price entries for this year’s City to Bay. These will be randomly drawn from a pool of our recent volunteers.
